Development of a set of 4 scenes containing different interaction mechanisms to showcase HP products.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cette exp\u00e9rience virtuelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans des magasins Boulanger dans la r\u00e9gion parisienne en fin d’ann\u00e9e 2017 et utilisait une machine OMEN by HP coupl\u00e9e \u00e0 un casque de R\u00e9alit\u00e9 Virtuelle HTC Vive. Les diff\u00e9rents challenges propos\u00e9s sont de difficult\u00e9 croissante et d\u00e9montre les diff\u00e9rentes possibilit\u00e9s de la R\u00e9alit\u00e9 Virtuelle : manipulation d’objets \u00e0 distance, d\u00e9tection de gestes, jeu de tir \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re personne (FPS), … L’aspect jeu a \u00e9t\u00e9 renforc\u00e9 en ajoutant un d\u00e9compte des scores des pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents joueurs pour pousser l’utilisateur \u00e0 s’investir au maximum dans l’exp\u00e9rience.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div>

HP, a computer hardware manufacturer (computers, printers, ...) has created the OMEN family of computers to meet performance needs, especially when developing or using Virtual Reality (VR) applications. The OMEN computers are configured and tested to provide enough processing power to create optimal VR performance (framerate at 90Hz) with headsets such as HTC Vive or Oculus Rift.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The application allows you to choose between 3 OMEN configurations: the laptop, the tower and the OMEN X tower (tower designed to be flexible with optimal ventilation). All of them are presented on pedestals. Each configuration provides access to a specific game. The player holds a magic wand in his hand. This will allow him to interact and cast spells.<\/h5><\/blockquote>

Cette exp\u00e9rience consiste \u00e0 faire usage de nos pouvoirs pour faire l\u00e9viter des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de la sc\u00e8ne et \u00e0 les d\u00e9placer sur une plateforme pour les faire dispara\u00eetre. Le temps est limit\u00e9 et les objets de plus en plus lourds. Le contr\u00f4leur g\u00e9n\u00e8re des vibrations de plus en plus fortes quand l’utilisateur utilise le pouvoir en bougeant la baguette trop rapidement. Ces sensations permettent de mieux appr\u00e9hender le poids des objets.

Le jeu consiste \u00e0 reproduire 3 figures dans l\u2019espace afin d\u2019ouvrir un portail qui nous permettra de nous \u00e9chapper. Pendant le jeu, les murs de la pi\u00e8ce se rapprochent pour finir par nous \u00e9craser si les 3 figures ne sont pas r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dans le temps imparti. Le contr\u00f4leur vibre en fonction des mouvements de l’utilisateur sur la forme g\u00e9om\u00e9trique, ce qui permet d’avoir une meilleure immersion, les 3 sens (vue, ou\u00efe et toucher) \u00e9tant sollicit\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>

3 - OMEN X

This last experience is happening on levitating rocky platforms. The goal is to destroy all fireflies around us to prevent them from seizing the OMEN case. The rock platforms fall one after the other. If all fireflies have not been destroyed within 60 seconds we fall with the last platform. I hope you do not fear of heights !
