{"id":17091,"date":"2019-09-11T18:00:50","date_gmt":"2019-09-11T17:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foks-lab.fr\/?p=17091"},"modified":"2019-09-12T21:12:12","modified_gmt":"2019-09-12T20:12:12","slug":"hp-reverb-finally-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foks-lab.fr\/en\/hp-reverb-finally-available","title":{"rendered":"HP Reverb is finally available and HTC Cosmos is nearly there"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>I wrote an <a href=\"http:\/\/foks-lab.fr\/en\/hp-reverb-available-soon\/\">article in june<\/a> about the availability of the <span style=\"color: #d21151;\"><strong>HP Reverb<\/strong><\/span> headset &#8230; in the US ! <br>You can now <a href=\"https:\/\/immersive-display.com\/fr\/casque-realite-virtuelle\/547-hp-reverb-vr-headset-edition-professionnelle.html\">buy the<strong> pro edition<\/strong> in Europe<\/a> for less than 740\u20ac tax included.<\/p> <p>I was very impressed when I tested the prototype at Laval Virtual. The graphic quality is really good thanks to the<span style=\"color: #d21151;\"> <strong>2160&#215;2160 resolution per eye<\/strong><\/span> and it is <strong><span style=\"color: #d21151;\">really comfortable<\/span><\/strong> to wear.<\/p> <p>Just to remind you which kind of headset it is :<\/p> <ul> <li>it is a <span style=\"color: #d21151;\"><strong>WMR<\/strong> <\/span>headset easy to plug (only 2 wires : Display port 1.3 &amp; USB 3).<\/li> <li>with <span style=\"color: #d21151;\"><strong>Bluetooth adapter integrated<\/strong><\/span> (to pair the controllers with the headset).<\/li> <li>with <strong><span style=\"color: #d21151;\">2 controllers<\/span><\/strong> (the same as first generation of WMR controllers, not so ergonomic but which do the job).<\/li> <\/ul><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><span style=\"color: #d21151;\">Vive Cosmos which HTC announced a long time ago should be available soon<\/span><\/strong> (3rd of october 2019 but you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vive.com\/fr\/product\/cosmos\/\">pre-order it right now for 799 \u20ac tax included<\/a>). All specifications are not revealed but <span style=\"color: #d21151;\"><strong>you will be able to replace inside-out tracking by a \u00ab\u00a0lighthouse sensors face\u00a0\u00bb to make it compatible with lighthouse tracking<\/strong> <\/span>(I don&rsquo;t know the price of such accessory).<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No fresh news about the Acer ConceptD OJO (reverb-like VR headset by Acer)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wrote an article in june about the availability of the HP Reverb headset &#8230; in the US !
